Danza has always brought me a sense of family and closeness to something bigger and everything that was before us. It's not just dance practice, it's not just helping with a ceremony now and then, it's a way of life that I've been learning about for the last three years. What blows my mind at every step is that these dances have been passed down from pre-Columbian time. It's the tradition that I'm most drawn to, a natural way of spirituality.
