pedal pushers

I can be a real baby when it comes to riding my bike. I don't like to ride alone, and if it's windy or hilly, well, the whine pours. Wind is loud and cold! But when the weather is right, all I want to do is travel near and far and I don't care how many times I have to lock up my bike in one day, I love it. Friday night the evening was still warm so we rode to the DeYoung to see a free Precita Eyes mural presentation and tango and then stopped at Mojo for a drink, then Little Chihuaha for a burrito that we took to Duboce Park. Doesn't this sound like a normal summer evening outing? Well, here it's not, so it felt magical.

Then on Saturday with the sun actually making people sweat, we rode all the way to Chrissy Field with a picnic packed from the Ferry Building's Farmers Market. I've missed Ilissa while she was away at law school, and there's nothing better than riding next to your girlfriends, laughing the whole way.

reunited for the summer
it was hot, like really hot
