This is my favorite color palette. I didn't realize how much I loved the fall until this year, especially the time change. I get to wake up and it's just starting to warm up and the sun is coming out so I get to jog before work and it doesn't feel insanely early. And in the afternoon ( which I only get to see on the weekends) the just before evening sun is the perfect glow that I rarely saw in San Francisco because of fog and tall buildings getting in the way. I know it might seem like I relate living up north to some sort of far away country, but it's just that life feels so much more expansive when you're not the only one doing everything.
These are photos from our Ojai trip that we took recently, but I've been too busy to even write or think about the trip after it ended. I'll do a more thorough job of reporting how amazing Ojai is, but for now, bask in this glow.

Which hotel is this at and would you recommend it?

This was Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. It was definitely a splurge, but it is an amazing hotel and I highly recommend if you wanna spend that kind of money. I'm not sure how it compares to the other hotels there, because if it's just a bit more than the average then I would just go for a stay here.

Breakfast at The Farmer and the Cook is always a must too, where else do you eat and stay and do there? I'm probably going again just for the day on labor day weekend and first thing on the list is check out the swimming hole. I know of one in SB if you want the details for it, let me know.
